Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to clean up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the best way to go. The best robot vacs and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop combo that has cutting-edge features look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This premium vacuum is quick and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface that includes a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.

Another standout feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.

The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, such as docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without needing to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands with the S8's built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of the combinator robot vacuums that include mops that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including creating an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin cleaning and mopping easily.

It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate picture of your space. Additionally the object detection is hit or miss; it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to flip it over to get free. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just cleaned. The detachable vacuum stick is a game changer that can reach areas where robot vacuums can't.

This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and other clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and put the waste in the self-sealing bags. This keeps the system clean and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery longevity is sufficient to handle large spaces without needing a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle avoidance. It also features an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without crashing, and staying clear of stairs. However, it struggled with fine-grained debris and didn't always clear raised room thresholds. Its operating sound level is also high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin as well as wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on regular schedules. Eufy's app lets you manage all the functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums that are available. It delivers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable precision. The app lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it.  automated vacuum  can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they are near soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.

The docking station functions as an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

6.  auto vacuum  is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office clean. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an outline of your space and knows which areas to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.

It also has some outstanding highlights, such as a self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops can't reach. You can also alter the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to save time. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to invest extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice if you are looking for a robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It offers a broad range of features, including self-emptying dustbins and a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's quite quiet and can maneuver between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it can't pick up knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains a little faster than other models in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed quite well. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, from the quiet mode with low power for light debris to the incredibly powerful  Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for people who live in tiny areas. It's extremely fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair off carpets.

It's smaller than many of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it is able to take a photo of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys, or socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip to the bot's bottom, and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
